Here are a few focus areas and special projects.

Malvern Prep

The images below are a selection of student work from my high school classes at Malvern Preparatory School.

When I look at these images, I can recall fond stories from almost every piece. Helping students to exceed their own expectations in a media that is brand-new to most has been one of the greatest joys of my teaching career. Examining the images as a body of student work, I can trace changes in schedule, makeup of my classes, and student interest over the years.

Pitman High School

The images below are a selection of student work from my high school classes at Pitman High School. The ceramics classes at Pitman were year-long, which enabled me to spend more time with students on processes and techniques. We had no pug mill—so I had necessarily more of a focus on product than process. Please click on images to enlarge.
